Central Illinois Foodbank held its Corporate Food Fight Challenge awards breakfast on Thursday, October 26th. The breakfast recognized the 13 businesses that participated in this year's challenge, which included: Bank of Springfield, Hickory Point Bank, BUNN, Horace Mann, Staff Carpet, Memorial, United Community Bank, ACE Hardware, Allscripts, TROXELL and Kerber, Eck, & Braekel.

Central Illinois Foodbank kicks off the 10th Annual Corporate Food Fight Challenge this month with a goal of getting 25 businesses to compete in the food, funds and friends drive. In 2016, over $24,000 was raised by 20 businesses, who also logged 353 volunteer hours and donated over 9,700 pounds of food.
